Sickle cell crisis in pregnancy

Any cancellation or change of your registration must be done in writing to the ELSA 2026 organizer and will be subject to the following conditions:

Cancellation of participation by the participant

• On or before 1 Aug 2026: 70% refund of fee with an administrative charge.
• After 1 Aug 2026: No refunds will be issued.
• All refunds will be processed after the Congress concludes.

Name changes/replacements

The name change will only be possible for confirmed and paid registrations.

• On or before 1 Aug 2026: Replacements or name changes can be made free of charge.
• After 1 Aug 2026: Replacements or name changes are subject to a 20% administrative fee.

Non-attendance/no-show

Should a registered delegate not be able to attend the congress, for whatever reason, no further claims for reimbursement or waiving of fees can be made.

Double payment/overpayment

In case of double payment or overpayment, an administrative fee is applicable on the refund.

Force Majeure

In the event of serious, special or unforeseen circumstances beyond ELSA & IFSES' control and other than Force Majeure, the organiser shall be entitled to cancel the event. Registered participants shall not be entitled to seek compensation for any costs or damages incurred other than the registration fees paid to the organisers, which will be reimbursed to the registrant. We strongly advise all participants to obtain appropriate insurance to cover travel, accommodation and any other costs that may be incurred as a result of cancellation or postponement of the event.
